MVR evaporator is the abbreviation of mechanical vapor recompression technology (mechanical vapor recompression). It is an energy-saving technology that reuses the secondary vapor energy generated by evaporation to reduce the external energy demand.

2. Features of MVR evaporator
1. There is no need for steam evaporation, and normal evaporation can be maintained only by recovering the waste heat of the secondary steam and mechanical compression.
2. No need for condensing system, no cooling water to cool the secondary steam.
3. It can realize low-temperature evaporation, which is suitable for the concentration of heat-sensitive materials.
4. Low energy consumption, only 30KW of electricity consumption is needed to evaporate per ton of water, and the total efficiency is equivalent to 20-effect evaporator.
3. The economic benefit analysis of MVR
Take MVR-MJ200 unit as an example, the material solution is ammonium sulfate wastewater. The evaporation capacity of MVR-MJ200 forced external circulation unit is 5000Kg/h; generally speaking, the evaporation capacity of 5000Kg/h ammonium sulfate wastewater mostly uses double-effect evaporator. The steam energy efficiency ratio is about 0.55, and the cooling water consumption is 10 cubic meters per ton of evaporation. (Calculated based on steam price: 200 yuan/ton, electricity price: 0.65 yuan/kWh, cooling water price: 0.15 yuan/m3)
The operating cost of a 5t/h double-effect evaporator unit is:
1. Steam cost 5 t/h×0.55×200 yuan/t×7200h/year = 3.96 million yuan/year;
2. Circulating water cost 5 t/h×10m3/t×0.15 yuan/m3×7200h/year = 54,000 yuan/year;
3. Total cost of double-effect ammonium sulfate unit: 396+5.4=4.014 million yuan/year
The total annual operating cost of the MVR-MJ50 unit:
1. Compressor power consumption: 149kW.h×0.65 yuan/kWh×7200 hours/year = 697,300 yuan
2. Preheating steam consumption: 0.06 tons/hour×200 yuan/t×7200h/year=86,400 yuan/year;
3. Compressor cooling water: 5 m3/h×0.15 yuan/m3×7200h/year=0.54 million yuan/year;
4. Annual operating cost of MVR-WQ50 unit: 69.73+8.64+0.54=780,100 yuan/year
The annual operating costs that can be saved by using the MVR system are: 401.4-78.91=3.2249 million yuan
